Today is not festive. We spent half of last
in emergency and have been waiting all day today to go into surgery to have a fish bone removed from Xavier’s throat. That’s a whole other story.
The children’s hospital is amazing and the kids have been amused all day. The staff go to great lengths to decorate the place to make it fun for the kids.
I am preparing for (dreading) the ‘sleep over’ I have ahead with Xav.

I'm a bit out of the loop here and am catching up on your blog – hope Xavier was OK and that your unplanned night 'out' wasn't too horrendous?
Oh yes there was a bit of a gap in info there. He had a fish bone caught in his throat and ended up going under aneasthetic to get it out! A 36 hour ordeal I don't wish to repeat any time soon.
